Strange thing is I found the solution by accident….I was pressing the ‘s’’ key trying to get it to work and it displayed a snapshot on screen, to cut a long story short a program game capture by elgato had the ‘s’ key assigned to snapshot, so wouldn’t work if the program wasn’t running…..so just removed the shortcut ...
