The closer to the lure the more immediate the lure is acted upon, the further way the sinker is the more gradual the action on the lure is. 90% of the time we run the wt only 6' ahead with a rubber band with water temps over 50 degrees. In colder water we are more likely to snap the sinker 20' ahead of the lure. Webb9 juli 2013 · I dont have an inline weight chart for 2mph. I have 50/50 method, also read somewhere that a 2oz's at 2.0 mph is 1 foot of depth per 4 feet of line but dont know if can trust that info, and its only for 2oz. I run inline rednek weights so 50/50 snap weights isnt going to work to efficiently for us.

Webb9 mars 2013 · If i'm running out of Lorain and fishing 60 f.o.w. I run 8oz up front,6oz in the middle and 4 oz off the back corner. I also run inline weights on one side and bouncers on the other as there are alot of days where the inlines out produce the bouncers. On a 8oz weight with 45ft of line the weight would be "choking" the planer as 8oz needs 120ft of line to reach depth plus 45ft does not equal 80ft - does it? So the 45ft is the minimum length for a 3oz weight, adjust everything else accordingly. starward gaze thall
