Hi everyone I've just been prescribed sertraline for my depression and anxiety I'm really scared to take them because of side effects I'm an extremely anxious person and I no that the tablets will make me feel worse to begin with and that's why I've been given diazepam to calm me I just hope they will!! WebBefore that, I had done 5 days of 37.5mg, and a month or so each of 25mg and 12.5mg before that. Before, my side effects were just headaches, diarrhea, jaw clenching, and a bit of nausea. But after going to 50mg, I've had increased anxiety, sadness, dissociation, feeling like I'm going crazy (racing thoughts, feeling like reality is 'weird'), and other mood dips.
